A premium 205-seat recessed retractable seating system has been installed at Blaxland State High School in NSW, creating a versatile multipurpose facility that serves the diverse needs of the campus community.
The key objective of the project centred on space recovery, allowing the venue to seamlessly transform from a high-end performance space into a flexible multipurpose hall. When the seating system is retracted, the school gains valuable floor space suitable for assemblies, examinations, physical education activities, and community events.
The selection of CT302-46 padded Centura seats delivers superior comfort for extended performances and presentations while enhancing the premium aesthetic of the facility, with the recessed configuration ensuring smooth operation and maintaining clean aesthetics, whether the seating is deployed or stored.
The completed installation provides Blaxland State High School with a professional-grade venue that supports theatrical productions, formal ceremonies, and day-to-day educational activities, maximising the functionality and value of this important campus facility.
Working with builder Link Asset Services, the project integrated platform solutions with CT302-46 padded Centura seats supplied by Bluecube Seating. The Nolan Group provided carpet finishing to complement the installation and enhance acoustic performance throughout the space.
