Walcom Ngarrwa Secondary College, located in Victoria, is a modern educational facility that has established itself as a state-of-the-art learning environment delivered through the Victorian School Building Authority’s school infrastructure program. The project was delivered by ADCO Constructions and forms part of Victoria’s ongoing commitment to providing contemporary, functional spaces for students and staff.
The facility required a retractable seating solution that could deliver both functionality and aesthetics appropriate for a multi-use school environment. To achieve this, a Hussey Maxam Plus wall-attached retractable platform was installed, paired with 114 Centura CT300-46 seats in beige — providing durable, comfortable seating suited to the demands of a busy school setting.
The installation was further elevated through a series of premium upgrades. A Nolans Raider carpet deck finish was specified to enhance the overall look and feel of the platform, while LED stair lighting was incorporated to improve both safety and presentation during use.
This project brought together an experienced team of suppliers — Hussey Seating supplying the platform, Bluecube Seating supplying the seats, and Nolans supplying the carpet — to deliver a cohesive and high-quality result for the VSBA and the broader school community.
