The University of Queensland Athletics Track Grandstand, located in Brisbane, Queensland, is a premier sporting facility that has established itself as a leading venue for athletics and track competition within one of Australia’s most prestigious university campuses. The project was delivered by Martin Meredith Construction Pty Ltd and represents the University of Queensland’s continued commitment to providing world-class sporting infrastructure for students, athletes, and the broader community.
The grandstand required a seating solution that could deliver both functionality and aesthetics appropriate for a high-profile university sporting facility. To achieve this, 554 Centura CT300-46 seats were installed across two standard plastic colours — grey and purple — reflecting the University of Queensland’s iconic brand colours while providing durable, comfortable seating suited to the demands of a busy athletics venue.
This project was coordinated across an experienced team, with Bluecube Seating supplying the seats and Dean Cargo managing the freight logistics to ensure a smooth and timely delivery to site.
